A few more days in last week. A couple of o/nighters with a group just finishing their Polytech course. The 1st night was very slow everywhere, a bit of a surprise as normally the evening fishing's not bad around the full moon. we tried another spot next night and did quite well on snapper or a while, Mayor was still very slow tho'.

Next day started not too bad , tarakihi and some snapper, but the wind was picking up so after lunch we headed back. An interesting trip, the 15/20kn turned into 30/50kn [we do have a wind speed gauge] so a nice intro into forecasts and their accuracy.

Sat and Sunday we fished around Brewis and the Lab and had good results both days with plenty of Tarakihi and some snapper, a bit breezy on Sunday but well worth it.
