The wild weather continues to blow from all points of the compass, but we're getting the odd respite and at least got one day in [Thursday] last week.
With the mainly Westerly winds we decided to head to the 10mile, so naturally there was a fair current from the East. We picked up a good amount of snapper before things slowed down, so we had a look at the Pinnacles. It turned out to be a waste of time and fuel as there was nothing happening, although the baits came up quite discoloured with mud. Possibly [probably] a lot of current hard on the bottom as all the sign was well up in midwater.
So, back to the 10m where we topped up on snapper, with the odd tarakihi among them. A nice day though.
