Well, June's turned into the month that's generally May. We're certainly getting no shortage of weather, and I still prefer this to the southerlies that are the alternative.

All we need is for the highs and lows roaring across the Tasman to just s l o w d o w n a bit.

Anyway we got Saturday in last week, and if the fishing had been a bit better it wouldn't have been a bad day. But it wasn't, there was enough current for most of the day to make things pretty slow, a bit frustrating because we actually got some nice big tarakihi and a few snapper in the short time before the current picked up.we went from Brewis, outside and inside Motiti, and the Middle Ground for much the same result i.e. not a lot. Maybe next week........
