Yet another week of generally good weather, although a few more Sth Westerlies starting to show up, unfortunately.

Tuesday we went around Brewis and the Lab, not bad fishing with a bit more of the variety we've been seeing, some red snapper, tarakihi and a few more snapper in the deeper water.

Thursday was more of the same, good tallies without being exceptional.

Friday we had quite a bit more wind than forecast, forcing us to stay closer in, so we gave Karewa a go.It was pretty ordinary and after a few stops on the way we ended up at Pudney where we got reasonable snapper and a few tarakihi initially, but still a slow day.

Saturday we gave Pudney another go, similar result good initial hit, then slow for the rest of the day, with a breezy SW for a while not helping.

Sunday the forecast was similar to the previous days, but we had a beautiful day, perfect conditions, excellent sign on the screen, but another day of recalcitrant fish. No current, just off the bite.
