Another pretty good week weather and fishing wise, although Tuesday was a bit of a toughie. Good conditions and things started well, but the dreaded current picked up after the first hour and slowed the fishing down, with a lot of bait stealing but not lot of fish coming up. Still some nice tarakihi though.

Too windy for much on Wed/Thur so Friday we gave the shallow water a go outside Omanu and Papamoa. we did ok on snapper, just panny size mainly but most had there limit early so we went around the Eastern side of Motiti, still currenty so on to the Lab and Brewis where we did well on tarakihi and some red snapper.

Saturday we repeated in close but less sizeable snapper. The tarakihi were still good in the deeper water, so Sunday we stayed deeper and bad another pretty successful day.
