Another busy week, with the usual day to day variations in fishinmg conditions and amount of fish caught.

The Monday after the Charter Boat Comp [bliss] was back to reality with sloppy conditions forcing us to leave The Brewis area and get into the relative shelter of the Middle Ground.The fishing had been ok but turned to non existent once there, with 1 fish caught until the last stop, which saved the day somewhat.

We did a few days outside Motiti with generally good results, as long as the current wasn't too severe.

So the tarakihi have moved out a bit, snapper still haven't shown up in any quantity, but we've been getting more kahawai and trevally, a mixed blessing as they're big and strong and can cause a few mean tangles when not retreived quickly.

Still, all good for the table, and we've been having more good results than not.
