A week of wet weather was enough to slow down the phone, but we did a trip down to Town Pt with a similar result to what we've been experiencing, good fish, bursts of feeding followed by slow periods, but good conditioned tarakihi predominately coming up. The snapper have not been showing up a lot, after a bit of a burst a few weeks ago, the water temp's still a little bit low probably. The snottiest days, Friday and Sat. caused the cancellation of a hapuku trip we were all looking forward too, seeing as there's been a few starting to show up. Next time, hopefully.
