Things have continued in the same vein as the last couple of weeks, with reasonable catches over the course of the day without being particularly brilliant. The westerlies have meant meant we've spent a few more days around the Middle Ground and around Town Pt with more fish being caught in shallower water. One change was on Sunday, where we pretty well duplicated our tracks from Sat. On the Sat. we caught mainly tarakihi with a couple of panny snapper among them. On the Sun. it was the opposite with a lot more snapper caught ,some nice sized ones too, and less tarakihi. Whether it was just the day or whether the snapper have started to show up in quantity I guess we'll see in the next week or so.
