No fishing for us last week, as I've pulled the boat out for repairs and maintenance, which she's well due for. Boats being boats, I'm already behind on schedule, but next week should see us pretty close to having her back in the water.

The next few days are looking a bit snotty in any case, so the timing mightn't be too bad, it's normally a quiet time anyway.

A good time to check the fishing gear, maybe apply a bit of lubricant, Inox or similar  to the rods and reels,  it's  a bit disapointing to have the reel seize up on your first time out for a while, so procrastinate no longer.........it will be worth it.
