A few more settled days last week saw an increase in bookings, and the fish played their part also.

A couple of good days were had around Motiti, where we back to catching mainly tarakihi, with the odd snapper and trevally amongst them. Good quantities, and the size was a bit bigger also.

We had an overnighter Fri/Sat, a good evening fish, with plenty of snapper and some nice tarakihi as well.

Saturday was also good with smaller tarakihi initially, then a good burst of panny snapper[30-35cm]. Conditions were a bit trying, a sloppy N.W chop, but we kept looking and eventually got onto some good big tarakihi.

Sunday we had the Romai F.C., went back to Mayor and did very well on the snapper and tarakihi, with some very good sized ones among them.
