A good start to June went downhill pretty rapidly last week, with a return to the highs and lows moving rapidly across the Tasman. There doesn't seem to be much change in the pattern for the next few days either although the high coming across will hopefully mean better weather for the weekend.

With the big swells we had last week, it'll be interesting to see if the little snapper have moved out from the shallow water and the tarakihi have moved in. The tarakihi should be close to spawning and some shallower water fishing wouldn't be a bad thing. A bit less current wouldn't hurt either while we've got the wish list going.
